Welcome to ShareCredentials. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our document exchange network and related services. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ShareCredentials services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

ShareCredentials provides a document exchange network that enables users to:

  • Create and manage web forms for data collection
  • Request and verify credentials (employment, education, licenses)
  • Send documents for electronic signatures
  • Store and manage documents securely
  • Integrate with third-party applications via API

3. Account Registration

To use our services, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any illegal purpose
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt our services
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to our document exchange network. By uploading content, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide our services.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and share any content through our services.

6. Electronic Signatures

Our electronic signature services are designed to comply with applicable electronic signature laws including the ESIGN Act and UETA. By using our signature services, you consent to conducting transactions electronically.

7. Subscription and Payment

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
  • Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy
  • Failure to pay may result in service suspension

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend services for maintenance, upgrades, or emergency repairs.

9. Intellectual Property

ShareCredentials and its licensors own all intellectual property rights in our services, including software, logos, and trademarks. These Terms do not grant you any rights to use our intellectual property except as necessary to use our services.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHARECREDENTIALS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ShareCredentials from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through our services. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
